I've always believed that our true potential is not found in comfort, but at the edge of our perceived limits. It’s a lesson I learned first as an educator and later in some of the most demanding environments on earth. This is the story of how that belief was tested, proven, and became the foundation for my approach to coaching.
My journey wasn't a straight line. It was forged through early morning workouts when no one was watching, through pushing past failure in the gym, and through the quiet miles of countless rucks. I started as someone who didn't think they were an 'athlete', but I discovered that strength isn't just about the weight you can lift—it's about the resilience you build when you refuse to quit.
Working in logistics for a decade taught me precision and the importance of a solid plan. But it was in the community, sharing the struggle and success with others, that I found my true calling. Here, my mission is to build the operational backbone that allows our team and our community to thrive. I handle the details so you can focus on becoming stronger, tougher, and better prepared for whatever life throws at you.

My path began in the classroom as a physical education teacher. It was here I built my foundation, learning not just the science of human movement, but the art of coaching—how to communicate, motivate, and guide individuals toward their potential.
Veteran Dutch Army Special Operations Regiment
The Forge
Seeking a greater challenge, I joined the Dutch Army Special Forces Regiment (Korps Commandotroepen). This was the forge. In one of the world's most demanding environments, the noise of theory fades and only the signal of what truly works remains. It was here I learned the non-negotiable value of discipline and forged the mental resilience that becomes the bedrock of all physical capability.

The Expert's Path
After my service, I committed to bridging the gap between that elite, real-world experience and professional, evidence-based science. By earning my credentials as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (CSCS, TSAC-F), I could translate battle-tested principles into safe, systematic, and highly effective programming. Project Spearhead is the culmination of this journey.
